In addition to the full range of General Medical Services, the Practice provides:

  • Maternity Medical Services - Antenatal Clinics run by our midwife are held on Thursday morning at the Service Centre.
  • Contraceptive Services
  • Child Health Surveillance Services - Well Baby/Immunisation Clinics are held on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 in the Health Centre. These clinics offer well baby advice and a full vaccination programme. The Health Visitor is in attendance and we carry out child health surveillance procedures as laid down by the local Primary Care Trust. You will receive a card through the post informing you of when your baby requires an injection.

  • Physiotherapy - We have appointments for our physiotherapist who is here on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday that you can book directly through our reception staff

We also undertake Cryosurgery and INR monitoring.

Patients registering with the practice are required to have a new patient medical.

Registered patients, (aged 16 – 74 who have not had a consultation in the past 3 years or aged 75 and over who have not had a consultation in the past year), may request and will be given a check up.

Any person wanting to have a check up is offered an appointment and health promotion issues involving healthy eating, exercise, vaccinations and lifestyle are discussed and advice given.
